The heater core is located in the heater box, behind the dashboard.
When they leak, they cause the cooling system of the car to become low, which can lead to over-heating issues.
They also let coolant run into the cabin of the car and soak the carpet.

Note: The entire dashboard needs to be removed to replace the Heater Core.
