Located within the engine's front timing cover, the oil pump gears are the heart of your engine's lubrication system. This set of high-performance Billet Oil Pump Gears from HPD is a direct replacement for the factory components in your Nissan Patrol's TB48 engine. The original equipment (OE) gears are made from a sintered metal, which can become a critical failure point, especially in engines that are modified, see high RPM use, or are turbocharged/supercharged. These factory gears are known to be brittle and can shatter under increased stress, leading to a sudden and complete loss of oil pressure.
