Rear Barn Door Gas Strut - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 Small Barn Door

This gas strut is a direct replacement for the strut on the small (left-hand side) rear barn door of your Nissan Patrol. Its function is to provide pressurised assistance, making the door easy to open and holding it securely in place once open. For any 4x4 owner, a functioning strut is essential for safety and convenience. Over years of use, the original strut loses its gas pressure, becoming weak and unable to support the door's weight. This makes accessing the rear of your vehicle difficult and potentially dangerous.

NOTE - On a GU Series 4 and later models, you'll need to remove a piece of plastic trim from the top of the factory rear bumper. Please refer to the other product photos to see which piece needs removal.
